ABOUT BONDSTONE VENTURES
Bondstone Ventures is the venture capital arm of Bondstone, a Lisbon investment firm founded in 2016, and was launched in April 2026 by two former physicists to back breakthrough-technology startups. Its inaugural fund, Maxwell Technologies I, targets €50M in commitments from institutional investors and is authorised and supervised by Portugal's CMVM. Bondstone Ventures invests at seed and early stage, writing tickets of €500K to €1M into deep tech, artificial intelligence, computational biology, and climate and sustainability, along with enabling technologies that extend to space and defence applications. The firm concentrates on Southern Europe with selective coverage across the wider continent, and partners with universities to source deal flow from research teams.
