CRON STUDIO is a venture studio based in Coimbra, founded in 2017, that supports companies from ideation to scale at the pre-seed and seed stages. Rather than investing capital alone, it provides integrated technical development across software, hardware, and AI together with financial management, covering sectors including software, hardware, fintech, AI, sustainability, and health. CRON STUDIO runs the Boomerang programme, which combines product development with EU grant access and has unlocked €7.5M in grants at a 92% approval rate, helping de-risk early-stage ventures.
