ABOUT CORE CAPITAL
CoRe Capital is a Lisbon-based private equity manager structured as a CMVM-registered SCR. Incorporated in 2017, it invests in Portuguese SMEs and Mid-Caps with the stated ambition of contributing to the productivity and value creation of the national economy. The firm manages two funds: CoRe Restart (registered with the CMVM in 2018), which targets industrial SMEs with solid, export-oriented business models but excessive debt or liquidity problems, and CoRe Consolida (registered in 2023), which backs SMEs and Mid-Caps with growth and innovation potential through sector integration and buy-and-build consolidation. Investments are typically €7M–€12M (higher with co-investors) for majority or minority stakes alongside experienced management teams, across industry, agribusiness, healthcare, retail, tourism, transport, logistics and services. The portfolio includes Palsystem, Bolseira, Plastrofa, Purever, PSHC – Portugal Senior Health Care, Varandas de Sousa, Move Clinics, Real Life Technologies, Lisbon Serviced Apartments and Lift Consulting/Evercom; Electrofer and Jayme da Costa were divested in 2019.
