COREangels is an angel network founded in 2019 and based in Ílhavo, near Aveiro, that runs syndicated early-stage investing through a rolling-fund model. It pools capital from experienced operators into structured pre-seed and seed rounds in software, e-commerce, and IT, writing tickets of €50K to €200K and managing around €5M locally. As a global network, COREangels spans more than 12 funds, 200-plus investors, and dozens of countries, and has made about 100 investments. Its portfolio includes Ethiack, Comunidad Feliz, WSense, Luda Partners, CodeGPT, Sizebay, Indie Seguros, and MarinaTex, among many others; the Comunidad Feliz investment produced a notable exit to Visma valued at roughly $70M. COREangels was co-founded by Rui Falcão, who serves as Co-Founder and CEO, alongside Cintia Mano, Pedro Bandeira, who sits on the board, and Eduardo Gutierrez. The syndicate structure lets its operator-investors back founders collectively across a wide geographic footprint.
