ABOUT IM GESTÃO DE ATIVOS
IM Gestão de Ativos (IMGA) is a Lisbon-based asset manager that began activity on 27 April 1989 and is registered with the CMVM as an SGOIC (management company for collective investment undertakings). With more than €6B in assets under management across some 30 securities funds and five private equity / venture capital funds, it is the largest independent asset management company in Portugal. Its alternative-investment platform includes Futurum Tech, a closed venture capital fund designed with Futurum Capital to invest in Portuguese and Brazilian future-tech and life-sciences companies at seed to Series B stage, alongside Mondego Invest (logistics and retail), CapitalVes SIFIDE (R&D), Silver Domus (senior living) and IMGA PME Flex. In December 2025 the insurer Fidelidade signed an agreement to acquire 70% of IMGA from the CIMD group, with the existing management team led by CEO Emanuel Silva retained; the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
