ABOUT BIVEN CAPITAL PARTNERS
BIVEN Capital Partners is an independent venture capital management company (SCR) registered with the CMVM and headquartered in Braga, founded in 2023. It describes itself as combining alternative investment strategies with traditional options, drawing on experience in management, internationalisation and capital markets and adopting sustainable practices. In November 2023 BIVEN was one of 16 managers selected under the Banco Português de Fomento Venture Capital Programme, financed by the Capitalisation and Resilience Fund (PRR), and in December 2023 it was among the first seven managers to contract: a €20M fund with €12M of public commitment and at least €8M from private investors. Its vehicle, BIVEN Trends A, FCR, had its category A units registered at Euronext Securities Porto in September 2025. The fund invests at seed and Series A across technology and multiple sectors in Portuguese companies.
