ABOUT ISQ SCR
ISQ – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, S.A. is a Lisbon-based, CMVM-registered venture capital company that operates as the venture capital fund-management arm of ASK – Advisory Services Kapital, a Portuguese-owned financial boutique founded in 2006 with corporate finance, venture capital and wealth management businesses and offices in Lisbon, São Paulo, Luanda and Geneva. The ISQ engineering and testing group lists ASK among its participated companies, which is the link between the SCR and the industrial group. ISQ SCR is headquartered at ASK's offices on Avenida Álvares Cabral in Lisbon. In November 2023 it was one of 16 managers selected under the Banco Português de Fomento Venture Capital Programme, financed by the Capitalisation and Resilience Fund (PRR), and in December 2023 it was among the first seven to contract, with a €20M fund combining €14M of public commitment and at least €6M from private investors, aimed at Portuguese SMEs primarily in start-up and later-stage venture phases. ASK is led by chairman Pedro Baltazar and CEO Nuno Miranda.
